If you've just picked Computer Science for O Level, Matric, or A Level, you've probably felt the same confusion many students do: is this subject about coding, or about memorizing definitions like CPU and RAM? The honest answer is both, and most students struggle not because the subject is hard but because they study it the wrong way. Here is a roadmap that actually works. Understand what your syllabus really tests Cambridge O Level Computer Science (2210), the syllabus most private schools in Pakistan follow, is split into two equally weighted papers: Computer Systems (data representation, hardware, software, networks, the internet, and emerging technologies like AI and robotics) and Algorithms, Programming and Logic (problem solving, pseudocode, databases and SQL, and Boolean logic). For most of Paper 2 you write answers in pseudocode, not a specific language, though the scenario question lets you choose Python, Visual Basic, or Java if you would rather code your answer directly.
